A

case is presented that during the temporary dentition; a trauma took

place with avulsion of a central incisor. The patient attended consultation

presenting mixed dentition due to the absence of the permanent incisor and the

partial loss of space due to migration of the neighboring teeth. In the X-rays,

retention of the incisor with vestibular root angulation was identified. Surgical

exposition and the orthodontic traction with the Hawley appliance were made,

correcting its position.
