Introduction:
Mesothelial cyst of the round ligament is a rare
condition in female pathology. The aim of this presentation is to
aware the young surgeons.
Case Description:
This is a case of 25 years old female patient
presented with a chronic mass in the right groin. The preoperative
CT revealed a cystic lobular mass in the right groin in contact with
the femoral vessels.
Results:
Histology revealed a mesothelial cyst of the round
ligament without elements of malignancy
Conclusions:
Mesothelial cyst of the round ligament should be
included in the differential diagnosis on inguinal masses in the
female patients.
