Stress At Work

Many strategies for managing stress are available, some used by health professionals and others, self-help, which can help a person reduce their stress levels, provide positive feelings of control over one's life and promote general well-being. Other stress reduction strategies include adding a regular exercise routine, spending quality time with family and pets, meditating, finding a hobby, writing down your thoughts, feelings and moods and talking to someone you trust about your concerns. It is important to remember that not all strategies will work equally well for everyone, which is why trying different stress management strategies is important to find out which strategies work best for you. An example of this would be that, two people in one roller coaster can scream while holding onto a barrel and the other can laugh while their hands are high in the air (Nisson). This is a perfect example of how stress affects everyone in one way or another so they may want different treatment. These methods do not require medical approval but to see if the medical procedure works best for you is very important.
