Risk Communication

Generally, risk communication refers to the actual exchange of information, advice and ideas between experts and many people who define a threat, which can endanger their survival, health, economic or social well-being. The primary purpose of risk communication is to help vulnerable people take informed decisions not only to protect themselves, but even their loved ones in emergency by taking appropriate and timely action. However, the effectiveness of risk communication ultimately depends on people's understanding (according to their knowledge, activities, understanding, concerns, beliefs, etc.); professional skills (such as their trust, caring and sensitive environment, the level of trust between professionals and the people involved, etc.); and the ability of the communicator to quickly locate these rumors / myths / misconceptions and deal with them before they begin to affect the means of prevention and control.
