Psychopathy

Psychopathy is traditionally a personality disorder characterized by persistent behavior of apathy, negative emotions and remorse, and by courage, restraint, and arrogant symptoms. It is sometimes referred to as socialopathy. Various theories of psychopathy have been used throughout history which are merely transitory and can sometimes be contradictory. Hervey M. Cleckley, an American psychologist, contributed to the first discovery of personality disorders / disorders in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder (DSM), as did American psychologist George E. Partridge. The DSM and the International Classization of Diseases (ICD) then present the diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder (ASPD) and dissocial personality disorder (DPD) respectively, and say the findings are referred to (or included in the symptoms) as psychopathy or socialopathy.
