Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a type of joint disease that results in fracture of the cartilage that joins the lower bone. Common Symptoms Pain associated with stiffness. Symptoms often get worse over the years. At first they may appear only after a workout, but they can be so later. Other indications may include joint swelling, decreased range of motion, and, where the back is affected, weakness or paralysis of the arm and legs. The most affected joints are the two near the edges of the fingers and the joint in the bottom of the thumb; knees and joints; and the neck joint and then back down. Connections on one side of the body are often more affected than on the other. Symptoms may interfere with normal daily activities and activities. Unlike other forms of arthritis, only the joints, not the internal organs, are affected.
