Mirror neurons are one of the most important discoveries in the last decade of neuroscience. These are a spread of visuospatial neurons which indicate fundamentally about human social interaction. Essentially, mirror neurons answer actions that we observe in others. The interesting part is that mirror neurons fire within the same way once we actually recreate that action ourselves. Apart from imitation, they are responsible for myriad of other sophisticated human behavior and thought processes. Defects in the mirror neuron system are being linked to disorders like autism. This review is a brief introduction to the neurons that shaped our civilization. Mirror neurons represent a particular class of neurons that discharge both when a private executes a motor act and when he observes another individual performing an equivalent or a similar motor act. These neurons were first discovered in monkey's brain. In humans, brain activity according to that of mirror neurons has been found within the premotor cortex, the supplementary motor region , the first somatosensory cortex, and therefore the inferior parietal cortex.
