Meningitis

Meningitis are swellings of the meninges. The meninges are three membranes and those cover the brain and spinal cord. Meningitis can occur when fluid surrounding the meninges transferred as infected. The common source of meningitis are viral and bacterial infections. Inflammation of brain and spinal cord membranes mostly caused by an infection.

Meningitis is occurred by a viral infection, but it can also bacterial or fungal. some vaccines can prevent some forms of meningitis. Symptoms include headache, fever, and stiff neck. Based on the cause, meningitis may get better on its own or it can be life-threatening, requiring urgent antibiotic treatment.
