Rare Diseases

Rare disease or disorder is defined as rare in Europe which may affect only a handful of patients. 80% of the rare diseases are of genetic origin, and are often chronic and life threatening. Most of the rare diseases have no cure, so living with a rare disease is an on-going experience for patients.
