Paediatric Endocrinology

Paediatric endocrinology is a medical sub-speciality which deals with the variations of physical growth and sexual development in children, diabetes and other endocrine gland disorders. An endocrinologist is a specially trained doctor who has training in internal medicine as well. They diagnose and treat hormone imbalance of hormones in the body. Treatments include growth problems, early or delayed puberty, diabetes, low blood sugar, obesity, ovarian and testicular dysfunction, etc.
