Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease where immune system attacks the myelin sheath which covers the brain nerves. Multiple sclerosis results in disrupt communication in between brain and the rest of the body. Brain nerves start deteriorating and cause an irreversible damage. Affected person loses the ability to walk independently, loss of vision, etc. are the effects of MS.
