Mammary Gland and Lactation

Mammary glands are placed in a breast of women where it used for lactation purpose and produces milk. The both male and female has the glandular tissue within the breast and in females it is produced after the puberty in response with estrogen release. In female the mammary glands are produced only when birth is given to a child. During the pregnancy time the progesterone and prolactin is released.
