Diphtheria

Diphtheria is a bacterial infection affecting the throat, and salivary glands causing fever, swollen glands and appearance of sheet of thick, gray material covering the back of your throat. It is caused by Corynebacterium diphtheria. It is spread through airborne droplets, contaminated personal and household items.
