Diabetes or diabetes mellitus is a medical anomaly in animal body due to scarcity of hormone insulin or autoimmune hindrance for the functioning of insulin. It is a long term condition, which causes high blood sugar level. In physiological perspective, the person suffering from diabetes could be classified either due to inadequate insulin production or due to bodily non-responsiveness to insulin or both. The persons with high blood sugar level use to experience polyuria, polydipsia, and polyphagia. There are several types of diabetes have been reported and clinical and experimental studies on diabetes covers a major part of global scientific reports. Besides research and review work on these respective field, case reports on diabetes also plays an important role for the proper clinical diagnosis in challenging diabetic cases.
