Shock is a state of generalized hypoperfusion affecting all body organs. Occurs in adults and pediatrics as well has many causes but the commenest is: hypovolemic, distributive, cardiogenic & obstructive causes. The lecture will start explaining shock from the cellular level i.e. pathophysiology from A to Z ! Will present each category of shock with subtypes independently with alittle bit concentration on most common shock presentations in children. The lecture also is supported by pictures & graphs which at the end makes SHOCK is an easy to understand, recognize & deal with in real life.
Mahmoud has graduated from Faculty Of Medicine at the age 24, then he joined Emergency Medicine Residency Program in Alexandria, Egypt in 2007. In 2009, he got the degree of Preventive Cardiology Diploma from National Research Institute in Alexandria. In 2010, he got the The Egyptian Board Of Emergency Medicine & Registered as a specialist of Emergency Medicine. In 2014, he got the degree of Master Of Critical care Medicine from Alexandria University & became double qualified to practice Emergency Medicine & Critical care Medicine in Egypt. He taught Principles Of Emergency Medicine to EMS students in Al Ghad College in Jeddah. He is an active trauma and disaster team member in seasons of Pilgrimage for almost 7 years. He is the author of a Published book titled ( ECG changes in Acute Coronary Syndrome and their relation to outcome).
