Biography
Gianluca Di Bella MD PhD is a Professor of Cardiology in the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at the University of Messina, Italy. He pursued graduate work on cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) in laboratory at the CNR, Pisa, in 2004-2005 and in the University Hospital of Leuven (Belgium) in 2007. He received PhD qualification in ?methodologies and techniques of cardiovascular imaging? in 2009. He received the young researcher award from the Italian Society of Cardiology in 2006, 2008 and 2010. He had a CMR Level 3 of ESC. Reviewer for interna¬tional journals.

Cardiac imaging (CMR and echoicardiography) in ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathies (myocarditis and cardiac amyloidosis).
