Biography

 Massimo Scerrati was born on January 4, 1948. He received neurosurgical training under the guide of Professor Gianfranco Rossi at the Institute of Neurosurgery of the Catholic University of Rome, where he has been active as Resident (1972-1976), Assistant Professor (until 1987), Associate Professor and Chairman of the Service and Section of Neurotraumatology (until 2002). Since 2002, Professor of Neurosurgery and Chairman of the Neurosurgical Department and School at the Polytechnic University of Marche in Ancona. Fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the Department of Stereotactic Surgery, Freiburg (Germany, April 1978 - March 1979), under the guide of Professor Fritz Mundinger.
