| Biography | ||
Dr Holliman qualified with an MBBS from St Mary's Hospital Medical School, University of London in 1981, and undertook clinical training in London and Stanford, USA. His qualifications include BSc and MSc degrees, as well as being awarded an MD, DSc and a Diploma in Hospital Infection Control (DipHIC). He was appointed a consultant in medical microbiology at St George's in 1989, and was director of the UK toxoplasmosis reference unit from 1989 to 1999. He is also currently reader in clinical microbiology at the University of London.
Dr Holliman is currently the Lead Public Health Microbiologist for London working for Public Health England.
