Prado Antolino is the Language Services Manager at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. Prado is a native of Madrid, Spain, where she received her Bachelors of Arts in English Philology from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Prado graduated with a Masters’ degree in Translation and Applied Linguistics from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Additionally, she is a certified translator by the American Translators Association (ATA) in the English into Spanish language pair, and for ten years she was a certification exam grader at the ATA. Prado holds a certification in medical interpreting granted by the National Board for the Certification of Medical Interpreters and a Spanish Court Interpreting Qualification granted by the Consortium for State Courts (State of Florida). Her areas of personal interest focus on cultural competency and language access. |
