Graduated in Medicine at the University of São Paulo (1979), master's in Clinical Medicine at the State University of Campinas (1989) and Ph.D. in Neurology at the State University of Campinas (1993). Since 2007, Full Professor of Child Neurology at the Department of Neurology, University of Campinas.
