As a senior lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University I participate in the entire range of teaching and teacher related administration connected with the undergraduate and post graduate Nursing programs and I am currently the module leader for the Public Health post graduate modules. I provide academic and pastoral support for a number of personal students throughout their studies.

I work clinically as a Practice Nurse in Sheffield, I specialise in sexual health and I am an independent nurse prescriber. I have been awarded the title of Queen's Nurse to recognise my continuing commitment to community nursing and I support practice nurses nationally in my role as a committee member of the RCN Practice Nurse Association. I work as an advisor to the Care Quality Commission and this role keeps me informed of the continual challenges facing Primary Care and Community Nursing. |
