| Biography | ||
Dr.Leonardo A. Sechi graduated in the University of Sassari (Italy) in 1982. Then he attended two subspecialty courses in Cardiology adn Nephrology at the same University. From 1990 to 1992 he worked as a Research Fellow at the University of California-San Francisco, Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology generating independent research funding. In 1993 he took a position as an assistant professor of Medicine in the University of Udine with both clinical and teaching responsabilities in the School of Medicine. In 2001, as a full professor of Medicine, he became Head of the Medical Department of the same University, directing the subspecialty courses in Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, and Geriatrics.
