Dr. Handan Wand is a mathematically trained statistician with two master degrees (in Mathematics and Statistics, University of Pittsburgh, PA, USA) and a PhD in Biostatistics (University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia). She has completed her post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Biostatistics at Harvard University, Boston, MA, USA. She has also worked at Harvard Medical School for three years as a research scientist. She has taught several post-graduate statistics courses when she was employed as a visiting assistant professor by the Department of Statistics, University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, USA. |
