Abstract

Now-a-days, regenerative medicine & stem cell practicing in different unmet musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions is very much promising. But after successful extraction & preparation of stem cell, it may be failed due to faulty application technique. Initially it was practiced blindly in interventional pain practices and it is proved that 40% cases may be failed to reach target site even in expert hand. Now, imaging modalities are cheap, expanding and more advanced and many new conditions are detected for selecting regenerative cases like partial or full tears of different tendons/fibrocartilage, tendinopathy, compressive neuropathy, etc. Our experts are also using many imaging modalities like MSK ultrasonogram (US), c-arm, etc to reach in target site for 100% success. So, precise application of platelet Rich Plasma (PRP), stem cell and other many new generation regenerative products into target site is the key to successful outcome of many disappointed patients. To achieve lots of precise stem cell applicators, identify Its limitations like ignorance of importance of image guided techniques, costly & less available long term training, few affiliated trainers, etc. Our recommendation is to make popular & train up our regenerative practicing physicians mandatory by using current advance imaging modalities and create facilities of low cost, long term training by recognizing affiliated trainer & accredited center
