This presentation will examine the goals of the current administration’s Energy Transition program and the challenge to meet scenarios for renewable energy development. We examine how the U.S. meet its vast energy needs, and how, if at all, has that changed in the past decade, and what needs to change in the next decade. We examine the federal Renewable Fuel Standard and state Low Carbon Fuel Standards and their role as drivers in energy transition, their successes and challenges.
