Abstract

Synthesis and antimicrobial activity of some new benzimidazole derivatives

Some new substituted 5-Pyrrol-1-yl-1H-benzimidazole -2-thiol derivatives have been synthesised from different their chemical structures have been confirmed by IR, 1H NMR, and MASS and by elemental analysis. Investigation of antimicrobial activity of compound was done by the disk diffusion technique. Among the compound with Nitrogen containing heterocyclic compounds showed the most favourable antimicrobial activity
