There are no absolutes about human wellness. Psychiatry, Psychology and other cognate disciplines and professions confront modernityâ??s challenges that contextually define human conditions in harmony with creative consciousness beyond the orthodoxies of practice and public policy. Mental health issues confound scourges of decadence. Wellness is consciousness of being; also, itâ??s awareness of becoming in a world colored by despair and hope. Alienation, anger, and terror breed ubiquitous fear and violence. Survivalist instincts sustain hope in an otherwise toxic civilization.
