Management of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis: A retrospective study at prince hussein urology and organ transplantation center (phuo)/jordan

Objective: to describe the clinical presentation, clinical course, laboratory result, imaging findings, medical and urological treatment of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis at PHUO center/Jordan. Method: The medical records and operatives notes of 116 patients with idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis (IPR) (patients were identified using the international classification of disease tenth revision code) who were diagnosed by clinical and radiological imaging study and managed at PHUO center from January 2006 to December 2017 were reviewed retrospectively. All patients were initiated on steroid, with a total duration of therapy about 24 months, and the Initial and follow-up laboratory results and imaging findings were reviewed and compared after 24 months of treatment to assess the Clinical, laboratory, radiological, and outcome of treatment.
