Autoimmune Uveitis

It is an inflammation of the uvea which is the pigmented layer that is present between the inner retina and the outer fibrous layer comprises of sclera and cornea. The uvea contains the middle layer of pigmented vascular structures of the eye and involves the iris, ciliary body and choroid. Its symptoms are: Redness of the eye; Blurred vision; Photophobia or sensitivity to light; Irregular pupil; Eye pain
