New Publishing System in Archives of Clinical Microbiology

Changes in publishing systems

Starting Jan 2013, publications in Archives of Clinical Microbiology can be submitted under one of two systems;

1- Subscription only system, which should be for a small nominal fee of 100€ for the authors and only readers who pay subscription to the journal can access the full text of the paper. The authors under this system pay the 100€ fees for submissions and publication costs and they get a certified PDF version of their manuscript that they can print and distribute freely to their colleagues.

2- Open access system, in this system authors pay a low article processing fees (APCs) of 300€ (we offer up to 50% discounts for authors from developing countries), and the full text articles should be freely accessible to anyone worldwide without the need for paying subscription fees.
